It attracts with the all-round glass panorama gondola of the Dachstein cable car, which takes you up to 2,700 metres above sea level with its ” open top feeling “. In the famous Dachstein winter world you can ski, tour, cross-country ski, snowboard and freeride as much as you like – and all this in optimal snow conditions well into spring or long before the start of the usual winter season.

Already heard about the Gaudipisten around Gosau am Dachstein? In the Dachstein West ski region they have such original names as “Wilde Hilde”, “Rock’n’Roll” and “Donnergroll” and are an exciting challenge for experts and those wanting to become one. Test your skiing skills on the Marcel Hirscher race track with timekeeping! And if this is still not enough, you can come on Fridays for floodlight skiing in the Gosau ski area right next to the Hornspitzbahn! Always an exciting pleasure thanks to the modern floodlight system!

The region offers another secret tip! The freeride hotspot Krippenstein in Obertraun has 30 kilometres of the finest powder snow and an eleven-kilometre-long prepared downhill run waiting for you. Enjoy runs, cliff drops and an outdoor programme beyond the usual ski circus!
