As part of the tourism community, we have a great responsibility to preserve our environment for future generations. To meet this responsibility, it is important to create a more sustainable awareness of tourism and to take measures on a social, economic, ecological and cultural basis. Our major goal will be to continuously further reduce our own CO₂ emissions.
By using regenerative and renewable sources, we are trying to reduce our own CO₂ emissions and are additionally engaged in an evaluative process to learn what measures need to be taken to reduce CO₂ emissions. These include increasing the use of regional and seasonal food in our restaurants. In addition to this, we try to motivate our guests to arrive with public transport.
By involving the entire hotel team through further training courses, we also retain current employees in our hotel. Furthermore, we also address new team members with the above-mentioned training opportunities.
The target group of people who are paying more and more attention to a more sustainable lifestyle is growing. With the positioning as a more sustainable company, we have the incentive to support these society changes. Thus, we will continue to present ourselves as a future-oriented company and an attractive travel destination. The use of regenerative and renewable sources, such as power generation by means of a photovoltaic system, will have not only ecological but also economic advantages in the long term.
In order to promote the local community, especially in terms of regional and seasonal food, not only will relationships with regional producers be stimulated, but new synergies will also be built.
