Skiing on the Dachstein

Our COOEE alpin Hotel Dachstein is just a few minutes away from the valley station in Gosau. Thanks to the ski bus, which stops right outside the hotel, you can be in the middle of the ski area in no time at all. If you like, you can also embark on the Dachstein West ski pleasure circuit - a 44-kilometre panoramic tour that takes you through the entire area.

In the on-site ski schools, children can learn to ski safely and playfully in the Dachstein West ski area while their parents explore the extensive network of pistes. Families particularly appreciate our spacious family rooms with connecting doors and superior rooms. For the little ones, there is a playroom where they can let off steam after a day's skiing. The free ski bus stops right outside the hotel and takes you quickly to the valley station, where practice lifts and magic carpets await you - ideal for getting started on the slopes.

The Dachstein West ski area connects the villages of Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg and offers you over 160 kilometers of pistes full of variety along the border to Salzburger Land. Whether you want to glide leisurely down wide panoramic slopes or master challenging slopes - there's a route to suit everyone here. The mountain scenery with views of the Dachstein and the Salzkammergut is breathtaking, and numerous rustic huts provide culinary breaks in the middle of the skiing fun.

The family-friendly ski area on the Dachstein boasts several children's areas where children can learn to ski in a playful way on practice slopes, ski schools and family ski tickets. The wide beginner slopes in Gosau and Russbach are also ideal for those first turns and fun parks provide fun for young and old winter sports enthusiasts alike.
