Declaration on digital accessibility

The COOEE alpin Hotels website should be easy to use for everyone.

That's why we make sure that our website is
⦁ clearly laid out,
operable with the keyboard and
⦁ understandable for screen readers.

We adhere to the Austrian laws on accessibility and the international web accessibility guideline (WCAG 2.1 to level AA).

Accessibility status

An accessibility scan (17.06.2025) has shown that our website is currently classified as "partially accessible". We are actively working to identify and remove existing barriers.

The following barriers were identified:

  • Missing or insufficient alternative texts for some images
  • Partially unclear link texts that are not reflecting the content they lead to
  • Form elements (e.g. input fields) that lack suitable labels
  • Heading structure is not consistently logical (e.g. jumps from H2 to H4)
  • Some color combinations have too little contrast (e.g. buttons or navigation)

We take the issue of accessibility very seriously and strive to continuously implement improvements. Our goal is to provide all users with equal access to our digital content.

Legal basis

Our digital accessibility measures are based on the following standards and laws:

  • BGStG (Federal Disability Equality Act, Austria):
Regulates the equality of people with disabilities, including in the digital space.
  • WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines):
International standard for accessible web content. We are guided by conformance level AA.
  • EN 301 549:
European standard for the accessibility of information and communication technologies.
  • EU Directive 2016/2102:
Obliges public bodies in the EU to implement digital accessibility.
