Bad Kleinkirchheim is home to two large thermal baths, which are conveniently located within walking distance of our hotel. A visit to the two thermal baths is highly recommended. It doesn’t matter whether you want to end a long day on the mountains of the Carinthian Nockberge perfectly in pleasant, quiet surroundings or enjoy the whole day in the thermal baths. Apart from the healing effect, a visit to the two thermal baths promises one thing in particular: deep relaxation and finally time to reflect on yourself, take a deep breath and to be present in the moment.
The Thermal Römerbad is an architectural feast for the eyes and offers alpine bathing culture at the highest level. It extends over three levels and covers 12,000 m². It has a varied spa and sauna landscape as well as wonderfully laid out rest areas for relaxation and time out. Just like the ancient Romans, you can celebrate a relaxing vacation here according to all the rules of the spa art. The various levels bear Latin names such as Romanum, Noricum and Maximum. The saunas and treatment rooms are located on these levels, which also convey the ancient Roman way of life and an exclusive flair.
The St. Kathrein Family and Health Spa, in turn, has the largest water surface and one of the longest slides of all Carinthian spas – it goes without saying that it is a paradise for families with children looking for relaxation and time out. It offers a health spa with thermal water at 36 °C, which, by the way, springs just behind the St. Kathrein thermal baths. Those planning a relaxation vacation with a sauna landscape are also in the right place here. Outdoor sauna, grotto, steam sauna, Finnish sauna and organic herbal sauna – this spa area provides variety.
