Many of our guests continue to praise the cross-country skiing paradise of Gosau long after their visit – and often come back to us at COOEE alpin Hotel Dachstein for this reason. It’s just a hundred metres from the hotel to the entry of the cross-country ski run – can it get any better? Cross-country skiing is a uniquely natural sport and one of the healthiest ways to promote blood circulation. Gosau offers a number of cross-country routes – 50 km classic and 15 km skating – as well as an inviting practice trail for beginners. The trails are groomed daily and are free of charge.

Skating is cross-country skiing in its most original form and is experiencing a real revival. In Gosau you’ll find the charming 4 km Spreißler Skating Loipe stretching through the enchanting Gosau valley.
